Why should you choose us?

Experience You Can Trust

Established in 2014, Waverley Counselling brings many years of experience supporting couples, individuals, families and young people through a wide range of relationship, family, personal and emotional challenges.
Our experience has taught us that every situation is different. We take the time to understand what matters to you and draw on our professional experience to provide thoughtful, practical support. Our focus is always on helping you gain greater clarity, strengthen relationships and make positive and meaningful changes in your life.

Caring & Compassionate Counselling

We believe feeling comfortable with your counsellor is an important part of the counselling experience. From the beginning, our aim is to provide a warm, caring and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself. We take the time to listen and understand what you are experiencing, approaching conversations with genuine care, empathy and respect. Most importantly, we want you to feel heard, understood and supported as you work through the things that matter to you.

Support Without Judgement

We understand that talking about personal, relationship or family difficulties isn’t always easy. Whatever has brought you to counselling, you will be met with respect, understanding and without judgement. Our role is not to tell you what you should think, feel or do, but to provide a safe and confidential space where you can speak openly, explore difficult concerns and gain a clearer understanding of your situation. You can talk honestly, knowing that your experiences and circumstances will be treated with sensitivity, dignity and respect.

Practical Support for Positive Change

Counselling is not only about understanding what has happened, but also about finding practical and meaningful ways to move forward.
We help you explore concerns, recognize patterns and develop strategies that can be applied to everyday life. Depending on your circumstances, this may include improving communication, managing difficult emotions, strengthening relationships or developing healthier ways of responding to challenges. Our aim is to help you build greater understanding, confidence and the skills to create positive, lasting change.
