Established in 2014, I have worked with individuals, couples and families navigate complex and varied terrains helping them gain a deeper understanding of themselves, re-establish healthy and loving relationships and be armed with practical strategies to use moving forward.
Enjoying all areas of counselling, I have a strong interest working in Couple, Marriage and Family therapy. I believe that most people have the desire to feel connected and appreciated by those they love and when they experience the opposite, it results in deep hurt and distress. I am extremely passionate about helping couples and families reconnect with each other to bring joy, love and fulfilment back into their lives.
In addition to my qualifications, my extensive clinical hours have resulted in me gaining experience and knowledge with:
- Supporting individuals, couples and families from difference cultural backgrounds.
- Supporting clients who are going through family court proceedings in the Federal Circuit Court.
- Supporting clients through Family Violence orders in the Magistrates Court.
- Providing counselling services to clients referred by VOCAT (Victim of Crime Tribunal)
- Assisting providers and clients from the NDIS program.
- Liaising with other support services such as DHHS, Child First, Orange Door and Private Clinical and Child Psychologists.
I believe each person, couple and family is unique, and therefore my approach is to listen and understand your specific needs and wants, and tailor a therapeutic approach specific to your situation. My aim is to establish and maintain a strong connection with my clients by offering them a space of non-judgement, clarity and commitment to journey with them to a place of resolve and healing.
